Tucked into the trees in charming Ptarmigan Village, this mountain-modern getaway in a resort community sleeps six and puts you just minutes from it all: 5 minutes to the ski slopes, 10 minutes to downtown Whitefish, and 32 scenic miles from breathtaking Glacier National Park. The Perfect Year-Round Escape In winter, unwind fireside after a day of skiing or snowboarding, or take a soothing soak in the large shared hot tub. When the snow melts, trade your skis for hiking boots or a swimsuit—there’s peace and quiet, beautiful trails, lakes, and local charm waiting for you in every season. Shop, dine, explore, or just relax and recharge. The Space Our two-story end unit is located in the Cascade Building at Ptarmigan Village—very quiet, surrounded by nature, and adjacent from Elmers Pond - small fishing pond, offering great fun for the little ones! It's just a short walk to the indoor pool and hot tub (you’ll find a map in the photos). The unit has been thoughtfully updated with a stylish, modern mountain feel you’ll love. Inside you’ll find: 🛏️ Two bedrooms with premium linens and freshly laundered duvet covers 🛁 Two full bathrooms with tub/shower combos 🍽️ Fully stocked kitchen and dining area that seats five ☕ Spacious balcony for morning coffee or evening stargazing 🔥 Cozy fireplace (available fall through spring) 📺 55” flat-screen TV with streaming, DVD player, and soundbar 📚 Books, games, and DVDs for relaxing nights in 👶 Pack ’n Play and kid-friendly touches for families Please Note: There are 33 steps leading to the front door, plus a spiral staircase inside—worth it for the views, but may not suit everyone. A/C is limited to a portable unit in the upstairs area. We provide coffee and basic consumables for the first 3 days of your stay—longer stays will need to restock. Clean towels and linens provided. Internet service is available but not guaranteed, as we rely on local providers. Winter driving requires 4WD or AWD (typically November–March, sometimes October/April) due to steep, mountain terrain. Guest Access: Guests have full, private access to the entire unit, along with access to all of Ptarmigan Village’s resort-style amenities.Around the village, you’ll find scenic walking trails, tennis courts, and two swimming pools—an indoor saltwater pool and an outdoor pool perfect for summer enjoyment. There’s also a children’s playground and a small fishing pond, offering great fun for the little ones. Just a short drive away, Ptarmigan’s private lakefront on pristine Whitefish Lake awaits. The newly constructed, state-of-the-art indoor pool facility features a dedicated children’s swim area, modern changing rooms, a wet sauna, and a welcoming outdoor spa set on a spacious heated patio deck.
